Elisa Mearelli
was born in Fabriano in 1984 (Italy). I studied at the School of Art in Urbino and I graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Visual Design section. My field is in animation / puppet animation (I make them myself ) and illustration.

2004 - First prize for the short film "H.I.V." at the competition "Malattie Infettive" held by Pfizer
2004 - Award at 9th International prize "Scarpetta d'Oro" for childrens' illustrations (Stra- Padova).
2005 - First prize for the animation "Verra' la morte e avra' i tuoi occhi" at the 40th International Festival of the New Cinema / Pesaro
2005 - Award at 10th International prize "Scarpetta d'Oro" for childrens' illustrations (Stra- Padova).
2006 - Award for the animation "Il signor Martino Tappi" at the 4th Civitanova Film Festival
2009 - Third prize for illustrations at "Moving pixel"/ BILBOLBUL (Bologna)
2009 - Award for the stop motion short film "Insecta" at the Festival of Independent Cinema "Film makers al Chiostro", Pordenone;
2009 - First prize for the stop motion short film "Insecta" at the 2nd "Macerata Spark Film Festival 2009"
2010 - Third prize for illustrations at "Moving pixel"/ BILBOLBUL (Bologna)

During 2011/2012 tighter with Beatrice Pucci I worked on an animation to be inserted into the Alina Marazzi's
new film "Tutto parla di te" that will be projected in the Italian cinemas next year.
