Catia Magni

Catia Magni was born in 1961 in Parma where she lives and works as a professor of Graphic Design at the Institute of Art. She read History of Art at the Bologna Academy.

She wrote her dissertation entitled: 'Architecture, restless technique of an Inspired Passion... dedicated to Giovanni Battista Piranesi and Antonio Gaudi'. This thesis is visible her works and future career.

She has dedicated herself to visual arts and exhibited in several Italian cites and abroad. Since 1993 she has extended her interest and passion to poetry. From the influence of the two languages - both visual and poetic - a very complex and rich profile of this artist arises.
